Brazil: Beer industry turnover reaches R$77 bln last year

Beer industry in Brazil represents 1.6% of the nation’s GDP and in 2016 it registered a turnover of R$77 bln, Exame reported on February 23.

In spite of going through a deep crisis, the sector remains one of Brazil’s biggest employers with more than 2.2 mln people working in it last year.
